Annet Mahendru

Mahendru was born to an Russian Indian mother and a Hindu Afghan father. She is proficient of German Russian English. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father and an Indian father and a Russian mother. In her early teens Annat Mahendru choreographed, and danced in a show that earned her the honor of a German television appearance. Her performance featured a Russian-born snow maiden who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. Following her graduation from the requirements for high school and college in New York, she received her bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. She was a student of improv and comedy in the Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. She was created in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) and Russian Olga (mother). The family moved together with their father to New York's East Meadow York when she was thirteen and a half years old. She is a part of FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is perhaps her most memorable TV performance. She had a recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
